What information do we collect?
Our ministry only collects information you provide. This could include your contact information, such as your name, address, phone number, and email address. We may also collect payment information, such as credit/debit card numbers, the card’s expiration date, and other billing information if you donate or buy materials from us online. We do not sell, rent, or disclose your personally identifiable information with outside organizations without your explicit consent.
We may obtain information about you from other sources, such as public databases, joint marketing partners, social media platforms (such as Facebook), as well as from other third parties. An example of the information we receive from other sources would be social media profile information (your name, gender, birthday, email, current city, state and country, profile picture URL and any other information that you choose to make public).
If you use our App, we may also collect the following information:
GeoLocation Information. We may request access or permission to and track location based information from your mobile device, either continuously or while you are using our Mobile Application, to provide location based services. If you wish to change our access or permission, you may do so in your device’s settings.
Mobile Device Access. We may request access or permission to certain features from your mobile device, including your mobile device’s bluetooth, calendar, camera, reminders, sms messages, social media accounts, and other features. If you wish to change our access or permission, you may do so in your device’s settings.
Mobile Device Data. We may automatically collect device information (such as your mobile device ID, model and manufacturer), operating system, version information and IP address.
Push Notifications. We may request to send you push notifications regarding your account or the Mobile Application. If you wish to opt-out from receiving these types of communications, you may turn them off in your device’s settings.
How do we use your information?
Our ministry uses your information to better connect with you and to connect you with others involved with our ministry. Payment information is used to process your donations or purchases. You may decline to submit personal information to any of our services, in which case we may not be able to provide those services to you.
Will we share your information with others?
Our ministry will not share your personal information with outside organizations that are not closely affiliated with us. Our ministry may provide your information to third parties to process a transaction you have initiated with us. We and our Closely Affiliated Organizations use personal information for internal purposes and to connect with you and other individuals involved with us.
We may disclose your information where we are legally required to do so in response to subpoenas, court orders, or other lawful requests by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements. We may also collect and share personal information in order to investigate or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, or as otherwise required by law or by government and regulatory authorities.
Do we collect information from minors?
We are committed to complying with the guidelines set forth by the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act. Our website is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect or maintain information on children under the age of 13. If you are the parent or guardian of a child age 13 or under who has provided us with personal information and you would like that information removed, please contact us at email@example.com.
How do we protect your information?
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with other institutions without your explicit consent. We are committed to protecting your personal and payment information. We have implemented security measures, including Internet encryption software, Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol, and firewalls to prevent information from being compromised. Payment information is accessible only by authorized individuals to process this information. We take appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction of data including internal reviews of our data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures, as well as physical security measures to guard against unauthorized access to systems where store personal data. Unless explicit permission is obtained from you, we restrict access to personal information to our employees, contractors, and agents who need to know that information to operate, develop or improve our services. These individuals are bound by confidentiality obligations and may be subject to discipline, including termination and criminal prosecution, if they fail to meet these obligations.
What about cookies?
Our website uses “cookies” to better interact with you.
