The fee is based on the sliding scale listed below. This fee will help the process and commitment of counseling. It is our desire that anyone that needs counseling will still be able to receive it.

CELEBRATE RECOVERY

Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered program and is for anyone struggling with ANY hurt, habit or hang-up. We have found hope and help to overcome through the power of Jesus Christ! The purpose of our Celebrate Recovery ministry is to fellowship and celebrate God´s healing power in our lives. This experience allows us to "be changed." We open the door by sharing our experiences, strengths and hopes with one another. In addition, we become willing to accept God´s grace in solving our lives´ problems. By working and applying these Biblical principles, we begin to grow spiritually. We become free from our addictive, compulsive and dysfunctional behaviors. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy and most importantly, a stronger personal relationship with God and others. 

CAREER COACHING SATURDAY

Are you unemployed, underemployed or looking for a career change? Do you need help with your resume? Then this class is for YOU! Join us for this 3 hour workshop that will cover job seeking strategies, social media, LinkedIn, resume writing and interviewing tips. You will leave equipped to land your next job!

Cost includes training resources, materials and a t-shirt.

WHAT IS THE FAMILY INITIATIVE?

We are so excited to introduce a new five-year focus called "The Family Initiative." This focus is our effort to help you bring joy to your family and marriage.

We want to:

  • Reduce the number of divorces in our area (family breakups)

  • Increase the happiness level in your marriage and family

  • Bring more people to Jesus through your family’s influence

We want to do that by offering:

  • Family and marriage counseling

  • Marriage retreats, workshops and seminars

  • Tackle the subjects that cause the most family drama

  • Provide next level events for your family... so you can go from good to great 

​

In order to do that, we need to:

  • raise $150,000 per year for 5 years to fund:

    • On-site marriage and family counseling

    • Resources and events

​

The response to The Family Initiative has been overwhelming. It definitely resonates with our church’s heart. 

God has given us the vision, but YOU will determine the pace of our vision. When will all of this start? When we have the monies to get the ball moving. 

So, I have a big ask - will you help us get the ball moving? 


If you would like to give, you can do so in the following way: 

  • You can go online at www.peavine.org/give. Select 'The Family Initiative' from the drop-down menu. 

  • You can mail a check to: Peavine Baptist Church, PO Box 40, Rock Spring, GA 30739.

  • You can give on Sundays in an envelope with "The Family Initiative" written on it somewhere. 

  • You can run by our office during office hours Monday - Thursday.
